Welcome to my Days in Focus. I'm a photographer, a wife and a mother and this is a place I like to document and share tid-bits of my daily life captured by my lens. I am inspired by photography- in my opinion, it is one of the best gifts that we have.

Days in Focus is a creative outlet for the the hundreds of images I take, each month, that document my world. A big part of that world includes my two children. You'll have to forgive me, there's been few days in Beckham and Ruby's life when they haven't been photographed. My only excuse is that I can't help myself. =)

(summer recap #3)

A fathers blessing/prayer. An official name. A special family gathering. A celebration for our Ruby Beth.

Named after our Grandmother Clements “Marmee” who’s first name is Beth. I’m feeling sad that I didn’t get better pictures of this special event. Unfortunately, it was a crazy day. I think I spent about 60 seconds taking 2-3 shots of little Ru in her darling ivory silk dress.
