Why Hello You!

Welcome to my Days in Focus. I'm a photographer, a wife and a mother and this is a place I like to document and share tid-bits of my daily life captured by my lens. I am inspired by photography- in my opinion, it is one of the best gifts that we have.

Days in Focus is a creative outlet for the the hundreds of images I take, each month, that document my world. A big part of that world includes my two children. You'll have to forgive me, there's been few days in Beckham and Ruby's life when they haven't been photographed. My only excuse is that I can't help myself. =)

I’ve been busy…

Sat. February 5, 2011

With oh so much.. but the three things that undoubtedly top my list are:

1) Growing a BABY GIRL (due to arrive in the next couple of weeks)

2) Taking care of and chasing around a VERY energetic, enthusiastic, destructive two-year old

3) Being a wife to an Investment Banker (is proving to be one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to endure, think single mom…)

*Bellow images (37 weeks) were taken this morning by my patient husband JWA who so willingly agreed to let me yell orders and boss him around for 20 minutes… xo love you.

wow, cassi! you make a 37 week belly look so easy… and pretty. I remember you saying years ago that you hope for a little Ruby some day and I’m so glad that you’re getting a girl. It seems perfect.

Maybe drop me a line when everything settles down (or when things get especially crazy). I would love to make the drive to bring you dinner!

SO excited for you. I hope your hubby takes ALL the time possible off for paternity leave. Seriously worth it!! Congratulations, Cassi on your upcoming bundle of joy! It’s so fun to see your growing family. No doubt she’ll be beautiful and a welcome addition.
